About SRHC Pharmacy

The Salina Regional Health Center Pharmacy is a full service inpatient pharmacy. Pharmacy services provided at SRHC include IV admixture service, chemotherapy service, decentralized clinical monitoring and intervention, inpatient and outpatient medication education, pharmacokinetic dosing service, TPN management, code blue, rapid response, trauma, stroke, and STEMI attendance, and education to nurses and physicians.

The pharmacy utilizes a unit dose drug distribution system, computerized drug order entry and monitoring, IV prep, Pharmogistics, and Pyxis drug distribution system. The Pharmacy department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Clinical pharmacy services are provided seven days per week. The department provides an Employee Pharmacy service that is open 64 hours per week. In addition, the Salina Regional Health Center pharmacy manages the Lindsborg Community Hospital pharmacy and the Cloud County Health Center pharmacy.

Currently, the pharmacy has 20 full and part time pharmacists on staff - 17 have a doctor of pharmacy degree and six are board certified in pharmacotherapy (BCPS). The pharmacy also has 22 full and part time pharmacy technicians.

SRHC serves as an advanced practice site for pharmacy students from the University of Kansas.
