Resident Activities & Rotations

Salina Regional Health Center's Pharmacy Residency program is structured to allow the resident to develop skills in many areas based on clinical experiences mandaded by ASHP standards as well as individual need and preference.

The residency is sufficiently flexible to allow the resident to develop practice skills in a number of specialty areas. Using these skills, residents will learn how to evaluate, implement, document and measure the outcomes of their work.

Each resident will select at least 2 electives in the practice area of their choice. Opportunities exist for experiential and didactic teaching of health care professionals as well as mentoring of pharmacy students. Residents are also given the opportunity to obtain a residency teaching certificate.
