Salina Regional Health Center offers a wide variety of benefits to our employees. They include vacation-ETO and sick time-EIB, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401(k) and many more. Below is a more complete list of offered benefits.
Earned Time Off
Accrual is based on employment status and years of service. Full-time with 1 to 4-years of service earn 22 days per year to be used for holidays, sick days and vacation days. ETO increases to 27-days following 4 years of service and up to 30-days following 14 years of service.
Extended Illness Bank
Short term disability time is for personal illness. Accrual is based on employment status. Full-time earn 7 days per year. EIB may be used following 3 consecutive working days in the event of personal illness or injury. EIB may be used immediately in the event of hospitalization.
Medical: Multiple plans allow you to tailor your coverage to your personal and family needs. We have PPO plans with either a Premium plan with a $650 deductible or a Basic Plan with a $1300 deductible. These plans include Office Visit Co-pays. There is also a high-deductible health plan with a Health Savings Account available. Prescription coverage is included with the Medical insurance plans.
Dental: Dental coverage is separate from medical coverage and also offers multiple tiered plans to meet your needs. Diagnostic and preventive services are not subject to a deductible. Orthodontia coverage is also available.
Vision: Employees have three voluntary vision plans to choose from to meet their family's eye care needs. Options include Exams only, Materials only or Exam and Materials.
Group Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
SRHC provides for our full-time and part-time employees term life insurance. The coverage is 100% of employee's annual salary.
Retirement Plan 401(k)
Employees can voluntarily contribute to a tax-sheltered or Roth 401(k) with matching funds. Annual discretionary profit sharing funds are available.
SRHC will assist in the cost of tuition when an employee is seeking a degree in a hospital-related course of study. For full-time employees, SRHC will assist with 100% of tuition reimbursement to a maximum of $5250 per calendar year. Part-time employees, the assistance may be up to $2625 per calendar year. Reimbursements include tuition, fees and books costs.
Student Loan Forgiveness Program
Salina Regional Health Center will help pay on student loans for recent graduates that have been hired into certain licensed positions. Payments are made directly to the employee's educational loan provider. Employees have an option between $250 reimbursed monthly not to exceed $9,000 with a three year tie of service OR $300 reimbursed monthly not to exceed $18000 with a five year tie of service.
$2.00 per hour for designated hours worked on evening and night shifts.
$2.00 per hour for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.
One-half of base rate per hour worked for these designated days: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.
