2020 Lean Lunch & Learn Classes

Bring your lunch and listen to a 30-45 minute presentation on a topic that should be of interest to you and your team. Your Kaizen Promotion Office (KPO) has put together a series of monthly presentations that can make your work day easier and more productive. All presentations start at 1200 noon and run 30-45 minutes.

Lean Six Sigma Course Information for 2020

SRHC's Lean Academy Lean Six Sigma has been designed to teach Lean Six Sigma (LSS) fundamentals and its application. It is intended for part time improvement team project leaders. Students are trained and tested on their understanding and ability to apply the tools and techniques of all elements of the LSS methodology. As part of the SRHC's Production System (SRPS) methodology, students are taught how to integrate Lean Six Sigma into an overall approach to process improvement and project management.

Training is conducted using face-to-face format that includes examples of successful performance improvement, interactive simulations, and the most current and robust tools and techniques available.

Green Belt

Students are trained and tested on their understanding and ability to apply the tools and techniques of all elements of the LSS methodology. As part of the SRHC's Production System (SRPS) methodology, students are taught how to integrate Lean Six Sigma into an overall approach to process improvement and project management. Green Belt Training is approximately 30 hours of academic training plus (for certification) a completed project.

Yellow Belt

SRHC's Lean Academy Lean Yellow Belt course has been designed to teach Salina Regional Production System (SRPS) fundamentals and its application. Students are trained and tested on their understanding and ability to apply the tools and techniques of select elements of the SRPS methodology. Students complete the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training course in 8 hours.


A3 Thinking

Learn the use of the A3 report and how to complete one in the helpful A3 thinking two-hour course. The A3 is simply an 11 x 17 inch piece of paper outlined into several structured sections. The A3 Thinking session will consist an understanding of the following areas: Background, Current Situation & Problem, Goal, Root Cause Analysis, Action Items/Implementation Plan, Check of Results, and Follow Up. The class is used to teach students how to complete an A3 project using report writing, proposals, status updates, and other common methods of communication. The content follows the logic of the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle.
