 Volunteers come in all sizes, shapes, colors,
and ages - and both sexes. They include retirees, students, and full-time
employees.
Some Volunteers serve weekly, some less - or
more - frequently. Volunteers are recognized by their colorful jackets, name
badges, and friendly "let me help you" smiles! Over 200 Volunteers assist
with services at the Health Center... people just like YOU who want to make
their spare time share time.

Be A Healthy Habit!
Most volunteer opportunities are available at the Santa
Fe Campus, but volunteers also serve at the
 Tammy Walker Cancer Center and
the Penn Campus. Listed below are some of Salina Regional’s Volunteer
Service Opportunities and times/days volunteers are scheduled. Please note
that service volunteers are primarily needed WEEKDAYS in the am or pm. Gift
Shop volunteers are also scheduled evenings and weekends.

Clerical/Office (am/pm) Assist
Volunteer and other Departments with filing, assembly, reception,
computer entry, etc.

Escort (am/pm) Transport patients/papers
around the Health Center
and assist Santa Fe Information Desk Volunteers. -
Family Waiting (am/pm/)
Assist families during their loved ones' surgeries, treatment or care in Surgery
Family Area
and Critical Care Family area. -
Gift Shop (am/pm/evenings;
weekdays and weekends) Help
shoppers, ring up sales, and perform general shopkeeping duties.

Information
Desks (am/pm) Greet and
direct visitors; respond to telephone inquiries
at Santa Fe and Tammy Walker Cancer Center. -
Blood Drives
(am/pm) Help with clerical
duties (Clinics held in March, June, September, December). -
New Services that arise
as a result of patient tower construction 2006-2008
Please visit with us. Your particular skills and
interests may be used to develop new volunteer assignments.
