Support Groups

Salina Regional Health Center offers several support groups as valuable resources for individuals and families who may need emotional support and practical health information to help them cope.  Support groups are not intended to replace conventional medical treatment, but to supplement it with opportunities to share common experiences and important information.

  • Survivors and Friends, for  cancer survivors, family and friends.  Third Mondays, 7 p.m., Tammy Walker Cancer Center (785) 452-4843.
     

  • Breast Cancer Survivors, second Tuesdays, 7 p.m., Tammy Walker Cancer Center.  (785)  452-4843
     

  • Man to Man - Prostate Cancer Support Group, fourth Tuesdays, 7 p.m., Tammy Walker Cancer Center.  (785)  452-4843
     
  • Stroke Support Group, for stroke survivors and caregivers, fourth Wednesdays, 1:30 p.m., Penn Campus.  (785) 452-7011 or (785) 309-5765. 
     
  • SHARE, for parents who have lost a baby (in pregnancy, or to stillbirth or newborn complication), second Mondays, 7:00 p.m., Braddick A,  Santa Fe Campus. (785) 452-6839 or (785) 452-6962.
