New daVinci Robotic Surgical System
(January 4, 2017)-Salina Regional Health Center has implemented the latest da Vinci robotic surgical system, which offers broader capabilities to perform more complex minimally invasive surgeries. With longer instrument shafts, smaller, thinner arms and newly designed instrument joints, the new da Vinci Xi System allows surgeons to operate in multiple quadrants of the abdomen making it more suitable for complex general, urologic and gynecologic surgeries.

Salina Regional Health Center Purchases Office Building
(September 23, 2015) Salina Regional Health Center announced today that it has purchased the former Sunflower Bank Corporate office building at the intersection of South Ohio Street and Belmont Avenue with plans to convert it to a medical office building. The facility will become the new home for COMCARE physicians and staff that currently practice at 617 East Elm Street. The COMCARE clinic at 520 S. Santa Fe will remain in its current location.

Free Prostate Cancer Screening Clinic on September 24
(September 15, 2011)- The best defense for surviving prostate cancer remains to be early detection. The annual Tammy Walker Cancer Center FREE Prostate Screening clinic will be held on Saturday, September 24 from 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Salina Family Healthcare Center, 651 E. Prescott in Salina.

Free Screening Kits Available for Colon Cancer Awareness Month in March
(February 28, 2011)- In recognition of national Colon Cancer Awareness Month in March, the Tammy Walker Cancer Center at Salina Regional Health Center, American Cancer Society, Avon Foundation and Salina Charities League are making 600 colon cancer screening kits available free of charge on a first come, first served basis.

Avon Foundation Awards Grant For Breast Cancer
Prevention to Tammy Walker Cancer Center
(February 23, 2011)- The Avon Foundation Breast Health Outreach Program has awarded a $39,000 grant to the Tammy Walker Cancer Center at Salina Regional Health Center to increase awareness of the lifesaving benefits of annual screenings and early detection for breast cancer.
