This program is open to anyone including those who are newly diagnosed, those who have had diabetes for a long time and anyone who simply just wants to learn more. The instructors are nurses and dietitians who are Certified Diabetes Educators, a pharmacist and a physical therapist. There is no cost but registration is required. Central Kansas Cooperative In Education holds their early childhood screening clinic today for children in Saline, Ottawa and Ellsworth Counties. They will screen children in areas of hearing, seeing, talking, thinking, moving and playing. Children from birth to five years of age and children from ages 3-5 are screened. Are you thinking of quitting smoking but you're not quite sure? Are you wanting to give up the smokeless tobacco? Are you weighing the pros and cons? Have you quit before and started again?
