This program is open to anyone including those newly diagnosed with diabetes, those who have
had diabetes for a long time and anyone who simply just wants to learn more. It is instructed
by nurses and dieticians who are Certified Diabetes Educators, a pharmacist and a physical
therapist.

January 27 - Men's Cancer Networking Group
(formerly Man To Man Prostate Cancer Support Group)

January starts the new year for the Men's Cancer Networking Group. This is a great group of guys
and some wives that is held on the 4th Tuesday of every month (except Nov. & Dec.) at the
Tammy Walker Cancer Center. Any man who has had prostate (or any type of cancer) is welcome
to attend. There is usually a featured speaker as well as time to mingle, eat a snack and talk
to others that may be in your situation. Spouses and others are welcome. If you have questions,
call Linda Hinnenkamp at 785-452-4848. There is no cost for this group.

March 7 - 1st Annual Hospice Of Salina Spring Craft Fair

Hospice of Salina is holding its first annual Spring Craft Fair on Saturday, March 7 from 8am-4pm at
Kenwood Hall in Salina. They are looking for vendors that would like to feature their products. Space
size is 10x10 and tables are included. Vendor fee is $25 and a donated item/items valued at a
minimum of $20 for a Silent Auction. Proceeds from the event will go to the Hospice of Salina
"Live Life" fund.
