June 14 - Early Childhood Screening Clinic

Central Kansas Cooperative In Education holds their early childhood screening clinic today for children in Saline, Ottawa and Ellsworth Counties. They will screen children in areas of hearing, seeing, talking, thinking, moving and playing. Children from birth to five years of age and children from ages 3-5 are screened. Free series of monthly support groups for anyone affected by diabetes. The first 20 attendees will get a door prize. The speakers are knowledgeable about diabetes and diabetic friendly recipes are provided at each meeting. Valet parking available at circle drive.

This group provides educational talks, helps with coping and provides a safe place to share and ask questions and learn from others who have faced similar situations. Drinks and snacks are provided. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month (except November & December).

July 15 – Trauma Care After Resuscitation

Unlike trauma education programs targeted at prehospital and emergency care providers, this course is specifically designed for acute care, critical care and perioperative nurses. It will give inpatient bedside care providers the foundational, evidence-based information and critical thinking skills necessary to meet regulatory requirements and provide excellent care to this challenging patient population.

Diabetes Support Group

These meetings feature interesting and informative speakers and discussion led by pharmacists from Salina Regional Health Center. Each evening will highlight a different diabetes-related topic designed to provide support for diabetics and their families. Door prizes will be awarded to the first 30 attendees!
