September 13-November 15—The Incredible Years Parent & Baby Class

The baby’s home- what now? This is a 10 week class with the answers. It is held on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. for caregivers and babies age 0-6 months. Pre-registration is required by September 1st for class and childcare. Childcare is available for older siblings ages 12 and under. Baby will be in class with you.

September 14 - Early Childhood Screening Clinic

Central Kansas Cooperative In Education holds their early childhood screening clinic today for children in Saline, Ottawa and Ellsworth Counties. They will screen children in areas of hearing, seeing, talking, thinking, moving and playing. Children from birth to five years of age and children from ages 3-5 are screened. September 22- Fe For A Cure

Cancer affects us all. Even if you haven't faced the disease, chances are you know someone - a loved one, friend or neighbor - who has. Fe For A Cure is a 5K Race/Walk down historic Santa Fe Avenue and an opportunity to rally behind local cancer patients and survivors. It's also a chance to honor all those who have died from the disease. Click here to visit the website for all the information and to get registered early. Participants should start at Kansas Wesleyan and a shuttle will take you to St. John’s Military Academy for the start of the race. Race will end at Kansas Wesleyan.

Inviting all cancer survivors, their partners and those helping in the fight to join us at this support group. This group provides educational talks, helps with coping and provides a safe place to share and ask questions and learn from others who have faced similar situations. Drinks and snacks are provided. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Are you thinking about quitting tobacco but you’re not quite sure? Are you weighing the pros and cons? Have you quit before and started again? Diabetes Support Group

These meetings feature interesting and informative speakers and discussion led by pharmacists from Salina Regional Health Center. Each evening will highlight a different diabetes-related topic designed to provide support for diabetics and their families. Door prizes will be awarded to the first 30 attendees! There will also be a prize drawing at each meeting and a grand prize drawing in June. Valet parking will be available at the hospital entrance. Click here for flyer with more information.
