Over the years, many of you have surely visited an auxiliary Rummage Sale for super bargains for your home and family, viewed what's new for fall at a Fashion Show, purchased tickets for the Parade of Homes, purchased linens at our annual sale, shopped in the SRHC Gift Shop or even purchased something from the vending machines. Did you know that by doing so you are not only supporting the Service Auxiliary but also helping our health center provide valued services?
Dollars from these and other auxiliary projects support services of Salina Regional Health Center, Salina Regional Health Foundation and the Tammy Walker Cancer Center. The Salina Regional Health Center Service Auxiliary has made a three-year commitment to Blue Print for Rural Health to assist in the new KU School of Medicine – Salina campus. In addition, we supply grants to SRHC departments to provide needed equipment and/or enhancements to the department.
Annually the Service Auxiliary sponsors 250 days at the Rebecca Morrison House. In addition, $8,000 is donated yearly to the Salina Regional Health Center Foundation to support the Community Health Investment Program (CHIP) which provides grants to organizations that are working to improve the health of the people in north central Kansas.
