The Registered/Licensed Professional Staff provide direct patient care in a variety of disciplines including Respiratory Care, Rehabilitation Therapies, Dietetics, Imaging and Pharmaceutical, to name just a few. These individuals work closely with the primary nurse to provide a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to ensure the specific needs of the patients are met. The following positions are currently available:
Respiratory Therapist
This is a highly skilled, technical position, responsible for independently performing
Respiratory care procedures. This includes invasive procedures that may be performed with minimal supervision and minor assistance, in patient care units and critical care areas. The position requires the ability to respond promptly to changes in the workload and make adjustments in assignments as needed to achieve optimal productivity, efficacy and quality patient care. Work involves functioning as a Team member, performing the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic patient care procedures. This requires the ability to interpret physician orders, assess patient needs, deliver prescribed therapy and evaluate patient response. Work is assigned and reviewed by the Team Leader for qualify of judgment, overall expertise, efficiency and procedural accuracy, with further evaluation by the Clinical Coordinator of Respiratory Care Services

Physical Therapy Assistant

Dietitian
Responsible for assessing appropriateness of diet and supplemental feedings, application of nutrition principle and consultation techniques for neonatal, pediatric, adolescence, adult and geriatric patients. Maintains a positive rapport with medical and healthcare staff.

Pharmacist/Residency Director
Provides prescribed medications, drug information, and overall pharmaceutical care as needed for patient care according to professional standards, laws, and practices. The ideal candidate will have been a part of and completed a pharmacy/residency program.

Clinical Therapist
The clinical therapist is responsible for providing behavioral health services, including group treatment, diagnosis, and assessment in a multidisciplinary environment. The focus of the New Options program primarily involves providing group therapy to patients but also involves individual therapy and assessments as needed. A strong ability to work well with, value, and respect other disciplines is essential. A dedication to the principles of World Class Service Organization is required. Requirements for this position include a Doctorate or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or other related recognized and regulate mental health profession. Two years of clinical experience with the ability to practice independently. Kansas Licensure or equivalent is also required.
