Although they may not be directly involved in the care of the patient, there are many positions that provide the services and support to those who do. The operation of the organization relies heavily on Environmental Services, Food Services, Medical Records, Information Technology, Accounting and Maintenance, just to name a few. The following positions are currently available:
Cost Management Analyst
Responsible for development and ongoing maintenance of the cost accounting system: departmental assessment of expense accounts to determine the appropriate methodology for standards development; determination of the best approach for data collection; and verification of data integrity within the cost accounting application. Support development of management reports and data analyses to aid Administration in decision-making processes. Assist in the preparation, completion and filing of third party cost reports. Compile benchmark data and prepare quarterly submissions and reports for administration. Minimum education Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance industrial/management engineering or related field, with a Master’s degree, CPA certificate or healthcare certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association

Resource Specialist
Coordinates the plan of care focusing on quality, timely delivery of services, and medical necessity of a patient's admission, including what level of care is appropriate. Assesses plans, implements, monitors, and evaluates options and services to meet individual’s health needs. Care Coordination seeks to achieve the maximum cost-effective use of resources by helping patients gain access to the right amount of care at the right time, in the appropriate setting. Minimum education requirement a RHIT and 5 or more years of current utilization experience required.

Transcribes medical dictation utilizing transcription equipment and various software packages according to professional standards, state/federal regulations and in keeping with the health center’s mission.

Courier
Provides courier services for SRHC to various locations at Santa Fe/Penn campuses and the community through the coordinated movement and delivery of patient records, x-rays, supplies, equipment and distribution or mail. Delivers supplies to Penn Campus departments at Penn, obtains signatures as required. In addition, this position is responsible for limited routine vehicle maintenance of assigned vehicles (i.e. oil changes, wash and gasoline). Assists as needed with other assigned tasks.

Call Center Associate
Operates SRHC customer call center for the health center as a single access contact to the public, patient, physician and internally in a busy consolidated call center environment. Provides routine information, on-call schedule information, monitors alarms, pages codes and directs calls to appropriate areas for all campuses. Responsible for answering calls to the main number at SRHC as well as the SRHC Physician Exchange. Also responsible for proper administration of radio paging and alarm notification for multiple campuses.

Food Service Worker
Work in the cafeteria, terrace, as the runner for room service. Ability to run the cash registers, totaling out the sales for accounting. Serving, cleaning and set up food item for the customers. Able to visit and service the patients in the rooms and on the telephone. Have a good appearance and out going personality with the ability to service patients. Must be able to perform in two areas as needed.
